PRENATAL CAREIf you plan to deliver your baby at The Birthplace at Baystate Franklin Medical Center, your prenatal appointments can happen at Pioneer Women's Health in Greenfield or Northampton.Call our office to make an appointment to begin prenatal care: 413-773-2200BIRTHING OPTIONSWe offer a wide range of choices when it comes to birthing your baby:
  • We welcome women who have had a previous cesarean delivery to experience a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC).
  • Our Jacuzzi or birth tubs help many women to cope with the discomforts of labor and welcome their babies into a warm and calming environment.
  • We also offer nitrous oxide. Because it is self-administered, nitrous oxide allows women to decide how much to use and when.
Mothers recovering from addiction are invited to participate in EMPOWER, a program that provides early referrals.Â
